Himachal Premier League : A Kickstart to Himachal’s own Professional Cricket League

Himachal Premier League first season is set to take place in October-November 2018

Himachal Premier League of HPL is about to take place in Himachal this October. A joy for the cricket enthusiasts of Himachal Pradesh, this professional cricket league will be first of it’s kind in Himachal Pradesh.

Initiated by the founders of Promoters of Social and Cultural Heritage of Himachal Pradesh Mr Naresh Kumar Kaundal and Mr Dharam Singh, HPL aims to promote the young promising talents in cricket from the state to a whole new level.

The Himachal Premier league has already been supported by many well-known names in Himachal Pradesh and two of the teams of Mandi (Mandi Super eleven) and Kullu( Kullu Superstars) has already been adopted by Mr Chander Sharma and Mr Jitender Thakur respectively.

The sports and youth minister of Himachal Mr Govind Thakur has already shown his support for the Himachal Premier League. Mr Thakur has already shown commendable support to all the events and activities which aims at promoting young talents in their respective fields.

The league is already been supported and endorsed by the likes of CM of Himachal Pradesh Mr Jairam Thakur, well known professional wrestler Mr Dalip Singh (better known as The Great Khali), Mr Shakti Singh ( BCCI Referee), Mr Pawan Sharma ( Bollywood Director),  Mr NL Sharma ( Chairman SJVNL), Mr Ajay Kumar ( GM SJVNL), Mr Rajesh (Bollywood Actor) Mokka Mokka Fame Mr Alarmgir Khan (Bollywood singer) Mr Surender (Famous Tabla Player) and Mr Khayali (Bollywood Comedian)along with many more.

The society-Promoters of the Social and Cultural heritage of Himachal has already done some groundbreaking work in the field of talent promotion. Their previous events include Best Comedian of Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Got Talent, Film Entertainment and Proud Award to name a few. They also supported Rising star auditions in Himachal and CWE event ( The great Khali returns).

Himachal Premier league is set to be in two stages, preliminary in which different teams of the district will compete against each other to have a winner which will represent the district in states. The winner of this round will get Rs 51000 as winning price and runner-up will get 31000. This round is knock out one.

In the main event, the will be round robin and elimination one. Winner of the season will get 3-5 lakhs or rupees and runner-up will get 1 lakh as the prize money along with other awards during the process.

हिमाचल प्रीमियर लीग का पहला सीजन अक्टूबर-नवंबर 2018 में होगा

HPL (Himachal Premier League) का पहला सीजन इस अक्टूबर में हिमाचल में होने जा रहे हैं। हिमाचल प्रदेश के क्रिकेट प्रेमियों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है. यह पेशेवर क्रिकेट लीग हिमाचल प्रदेश में इस तरह का पहला होगा।

हिमाचल प्रदेश के सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के प्रमोटरों के संस्थापकों, श्री नरेश कुमार कौंडल और श्री धर्म सिंह द्वारा शुरू की गई HPL का लक्ष्य राज्य से क्रिकेट में युवा प्रतिभाओं को नए स्तर पर बढ़ावा देना है।

हिमाचल प्रीमियर लीग को पहले से ही हिमाचल प्रदेश में कई प्रसिद्ध नामों द्वारा समर्थित किया गया है और मंडी और कुल्लू की दो टीमों को क्रमशः श्री चंदर शर्मा और श्री जितेंद्र ठाकुर ने adopt किया है।

हिमाचल के खेल मंत्री श्री गोविंद ठाकुर ने हिमाचल प्रीमियर लीग के लिए अपना समर्थन दिखाया है। इस से पहले भी श्री ठाकुर ने उन सभी घटनाओं और गतिविधियों के लिए सराहनीय समर्थन दिखाया है जिसका उद्देश्य युवा प्रतिभा को अपने संबंधित क्षेत्रों में बढ़ावा देना है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री जयराम ठाकुर, प्रसिद्ध पेशेवर पहलवान श्री दलीप सिंह (जिन्हे ग्रेट खली के नाम से जाना जाता है), श्री शक्ति सिंह (बीसीसीआई रेफरी), श्री पवन शर्मा (बॉलीवुड निदेशक) ), श्री एन एल शर्मा (अध्यक्ष एसजेवीएनएल), श्री अजय कुमार (जीएम एसजेवीएनएल), श्री राजेश (बॉलीवुड अभिनेता)श्री आलमगीर खान (बॉलीवुड गायक) श्री सुरेंदर (तबला बादक) श्री  ख्याली (बॉलीवुड हास्य कलाकार) इत्यादि ने भी अपना समर्थन दिया है |

संस्था ने पहले से ही युवा प्रतिभाओं को बढ़ावा देने कुछ महत्वपूर्ण काम किया है। इस से पहले उन्होंने हिमाचल में हिमाचल प्रदेश के सर्वश्रेष्ठ कॉमेडियन, हिमाचल गॉट टैलेंट, फिल्म एंटरटेनमेंट और प्राउड पुरस्कार शामिल हैं। उन्होंने हिमाचल में सीडब्ल्यूई कार्यक्रम ( खली रिटर्न),राइजिंग स्टार ऑडिशन में भी मुख्य भूमिकाएं निभाई थी।

हिमाचल प्रीमियर लीग दो चरणों में है, प्रारंभिक जिसमें जिले की विभिन्न टीम एक दूसरे के खिलाफ प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगे जिसे जितने वाला राज्य स्तर में जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व करेगी। इस दौर के विजेता को जीतने पर 51000 रुपये मिलेगा और रनर-अप को 31000 मिलेगा। यह दौर नाकआउट होगा।

मुख्य कार्यक्रम में, राउंड रोबिन होगा। सीजन के विजेता को 3-5 लाख रुपये तक मिलेगा और इस प्रक्रिया के दौरान अन्य पुरस्कारों के साथ पुरस्कार राशि के रूप में रनर-अप को 1 लाख मिलेगा।
